2014 Comes To An End
Excerpt: A brief message about the end of 2014, and a notice that this blog moved as of 2015.
Though I would love to say something positive and hopeful for the new year, it would be irresponsible for me to give such a message. This past year has been one of accelerated decay and deception in the world. Though civilization as we know it still draws breath, it is clearly in great distress from every angle. But this itself is a clear sign that the end of the suffering of the world draws near, which is probably the most positive and hopeful thing I could say— for Christians.
We as Christians must never forget our purpose here, which is to convince as many as possible to join us. Though this message has always had a sense of urgency to it, since none of us knows how long we are to be on this earth, a time rapidly approaches when many will live through terrible upheaval never seen before. But they don’t have to; those who are in Christ are promised escape from the wrath of God (Luke 21:36, 1 Thes. 5:9, Rev. 3:10). So as we see the prophetic signs increasing in quantity and quality, let us renew our efforts to bring the Good News to others.
This site has been one small effort to equip Christians for this task, as well as to give perspectives on current events as they relate to the Christian community. However, due to economic constraints, I could no longer afford to keep it in its own domain and moved it as of Jan. 1.
